Things you want to know
Q. Are your wedges USGA approved?
A. Yes, we are approved by the USGA for competition, as the V-SOLE wedges conform to all the Rules of Golf.
Q. What are your wedges made of?
A. Our heads are precision cast of 8620 carbon steel, which provides a sure and soft feel of impact and has been the most popular material for wedges for over 25 years.
Q. Are your wedges cast or forged?
A. Eidolon V-SOLE wedges are precision cast to insure the absolute best precision. The casting v. forging discussion receives way too much importance as that is not even in the top three factors in determining a club’s feel. Weight distribution, shaft and assembly methods are much more influential on that.
Q. Why do you use the Rifle® Spinner® shaft?
A. This is THE premium shaft for wedges, and while other manufacturers may offer it as an extra-cost option, we use it as our standard offering. We also have the Spinner® in graphite, an EIDOLON exclusive. The Spinner® provides improved feel over the lower-priced shaft used by other manufacturers, and has been proven to improve spin for any wedge.
Q. What are the lofts and lies of your wedges?
A. Our lofts are 48, 52, 56 and 60 degrees, and all of our wedges are 64* in lie angle. That said, they are easily adjustable to fit any golfer.
